Brazil (Das Areias)
Areias Farm, located at 1,250 meters in Guapé, Minas Gerais, spans 122 hectares, with 56 hectares dedicated to Yellow Catuai and Paraiso 2 coffee. Founded in 2019 by agronomist Rafael Naves de Figueiredo, the farm reflects his roots in coffee and experience with organo-mineral fertilizers across Brazil. Drawn to Serra Nova’s altitude and beauty, Rafael and his wife Marianna now manage Areias and Boa Vista farms, focusing on sustainability through integrated pest management, biological control, and organo-mineral fertilization. They conserve natural springs, exceed legal reserve requirements, use renewable energy, and apply CO2-neutral practices. Precision harvesting and controlled drying ensure coffee quality, while employee well-being remains a priority.
Colombia (Magdalena)
This coffee comes from Colombia’s largest farm, located in the scenic Salgar region of Antioquia. Founded in 2017, the Green Coffee Company (GCC) aims to revolutionise Colombian coffee through innovation, quality, and consistency. Now spanning 4,000 hectares across 40 farms, GCC oversees every stage from agronomy to export. With major investments in technology, they operate two centralised wet mills capable of processing 360,000 kg of cherry daily. Advanced systems, including cherry colour sorters and electronic tracking, have cut water usage by over 21 million litres.
