COMMUNITY, TAITA | COLOMBIA

COMMUNITY.
The producers contributing to 'Taita' come from families who have been dedicated to coffee cultivation for generations. For them, farm work is truly a family endeavour, where each member plays a vital role in nurturing the plants, harvesting the cherries, and protecting the land.
In recent years, a new generation has stepped forward, bringing with it both innovation and tradition. Alongside classic varieties such as Caturra and Colombia, many farmers are now cultivating celebrated varieties like Geisha and Bourbon, combining heritage with experimentation to push quality even further.
A deep commitment to sustainability shapes their work. Protecting water sources, preserving biodiversity, and implementing environmentally friendly practices have always been priorities. Beyond the farm, the spirit of community in Consacá is equally important. Producers openly share knowledge, help one another, and uphold a culture of mutual support that strengthens the region as a whole.
The result is a collective dedication that shines through in the cup: coffees of exceptional quality, marked by their unique profiles and the care behind them.
☕ We love this coffee brewed both as espresso and filter, and it was a real team favourite on the cupping table!
