These coffees come from smallholder farmers who bring their harvests to shared washing stations, where the real magic of collaboration takes place. By centralising the washing, fermentation, and drying process, these stations do something remarkable, they raise the quality ceiling for everyone involved. Farmers who might not have the resources to process coffee independently suddenly have access to the same standards, the same knowledge, and the same opportunities as much larger operations. Skills are shared, techniques are refined, and the entire local coffee community grows stronger as a result.
